Being the child of a celebrity can be quite a challenging experience. The fame may either trickle down, leading to a life of wealth, recognition, and attention, or it could result in notoriety and scandal.
Candace “Sweetmuffin” Goldberg embraces this life by choosing a unique path: complete and utter detachment.
During an exclusive interview last weekend with our correspondent Joe Barron, Candace opened up about her strained relationship with her famous mother and her whereabouts for almost two decades.
“I haven’t seen my mom in person since I was about sixteen,” reveals the now-35-year-old woman. “I don’t watch her show on TV, and I avoid all the gossip and nonsense on the internet. It just doesn’t interest me.”
Candace currently works as a professional baseball seamstress and resides in Queefsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is unmarried and takes pride in her independence.
“I don’t need a partner to complete my life. Once people find out who my mother is, they often start asking for money. But I don’t have a lot of money. I mean, I stitch baseballs for a living.”
Whoopi was contacted to contribute to the interview but was reportedly “too busy” to participate. She only shared a brief statement:
“I don’t have a daughter, you ridiculous Trump supporters. What a world we live in.”
