In a move that is sure to raise eyebrows, former television star Roseanne Barr has announced that she is opening up a new Bud Light-themed shooting range in rural Oklahoma.
The range, which will feature targets emblazoned with the iconic Bud Light logo, is being touted by Barr as a way to combine her two passions: shooting and drinking.
“I’ve always been a fan of Bud Light, and I’ve always been a fan of guns,” said Barr in a recent interview. “So why not combine the two? It just makes sense.”
While some have expressed concern about the potential dangers of mixing alcohol and firearms, Barr insists that she has taken every precaution to ensure the safety of her customers.
“We’ll have plenty of designated drivers on hand to make sure everyone gets home safely,” she said. “And we’ll be monitoring the range closely to make sure no one gets too rowdy.”
Barr’s announcement has sparked a firestorm of controversy on social media, with many calling the idea irresponsible and dangerous.
“This is a terrible idea,” tweeted one user. “Alcohol and guns do not mix, period.”
But Barr remains undeterred, saying that she is confident that the range will be a hit with gun enthusiasts and Bud Light fans alike.
“I’m just excited to be able to bring two things that I love together in one place,” she said. “I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
As of yet, no opening date has been announced for the Bud Light Shooting Range, but Barr says she hopes to have it up and running by the end of the year.
