Rob Schneider has responded to Jennifer Aniston after the actress took a jab at his political views, making it clear that he has no interest in turning their disagreement into a personal feud.
Schneider said Aniston has always treated him well in the past, which is why he would rather put the latest exchange behind them than allow it to become a larger Hollywood controversy.
“She has always been nice to me,” Schneider said. “This situation has gone too far, but there’s no need to be rude about it.”
The comedian said he isn’t interested in arguing with Aniston or spending his time trading comments over their different political perspectives.
According to Schneider, political disagreements are simply part of life, particularly in an entertainment industry where performers frequently hold dramatically different views.
“I am just a comedian who loves his country,” Schneider said. “Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I am not going to change anything.”

“I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me,” Schneider said. “That’s what I’m focused on.”
The Las Vegas residency has become an important part of Schneider’s professional plans, and he said he would rather spend his time preparing for performances than following every new comment made about him online.
