Washington D.C. – In a shocking turn of events, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, the husband/brother of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, has been deported to Pakistan to face charges of immigration fraud and incest.
Elmi, who had been living in the United States under false pretenses, was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents last week and quickly deported to Pakistan, where he will be forced to answer for his crimes.
According to sources close to the case, Elmi had been living in the United States for years, using his marriage to Omar as a cover for his fraudulent immigration status.
It was later revealed that Elmi was actually Omar’s brother and that the two had engaged in a sham marriage in order to deceive immigration officials.
The news of Elmi’s deportation has sent shockwaves through the political world, with many calling for Omar to resign from her position in Congress.
“Congresswoman Omar has been caught in a web of lies and deceit, and she must be held accountable for her actions,” said House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
“We cannot have someone in Congress who is willing to break the law and deceive the American people.” Omar, who has been under fire for her controversial statements and actions since taking office, has yet to comment on the situation.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Omar, but one thing is certain: her husband/brother’s deportation is a major blow to her political career and reputation.
